The St. Cecilia Youth Band is an after school band program sponsored by the band directors of St. Benedict at Auburndale and Christian Brothers High School. It is open to any 5th through 8th grade student interesting in learning a band instrument (woodwind, brass, percussion). The band meets at 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at CBHS. There is a $200 registration fee to cover music, rehearsal fees, etc. Renting an instrument will be through Amro Music. This will be an additional cost to the registration fee, and need based financial aid is available. The band will begin meeting on September 4th, 2018 and will conclude for the semester on November 18th, 2018 for a final concert.
