150th Anniversary Alumni Band
Come be a part of the 150th Anniversary Alumni Band!
The 150th Christian Brothers Alumni Band will take the shape of two ensembles this year, a Jazz Band and Concert Band culminating in a grand concert on May 7. Please fill out the form below if you would like to participate in one or both of the ensembles or would like to attend any of the festivities as a non-playing member.
Music will be emailed to participants prior to the concert.
Alumni Band Schedule
December 4
3:00 - The CBHS Jazz Band, Walnut Groove, will perform their annual fall concert with a meeting to follow for those interested in participating in the Alumni Jazz Band. Bill McKee will be conductor and rehearsals will take place at CBHS throughout the Spring Semester.
May 4
5:00 - 7:00 - Alumni Concert Band Rehearsal in the CBHS Band Room
May 5
4:00 - 6:00 - Alumni Concert Band Rehearsal in the CBHS Band Room
7:00 - Alumni Band Party at Mosh (formerly Pink Palace Museum)
featuring displays of Christian Brothers Band Memorabilia

1:00 - 3:00 - Alumni Concert Band Rehearsal in the CBHS Band Room
7:00 - CBHS Band preview concert with the Memphis Symphony at the Cannon Center
May 7
11:00 - Mass at St. Peter's Catholic Church (190 Adams Street)
12:30 - Lunch & 150th Anniversary Ceremony at the Mallery-Neely House (652 Adams)
with entertainment from the CBC Silver Cornet Band
3:00 - Centennial celebration of the Casavant Organ at St. Peter's Church
with featured organist Dr. Jennifer Pascual, St. Patrick's Cathedral, New York
5:00 - 150th Grand Concert at the Cannon Center
featuring the Christian Brothers Band and Alumni Band
7:30 - Concert Reception in the Cannon Center Lobby with music from
